Computer Algebra System forkortet CAS[1] er en betegnelse for lommeregnere og software, som kan foretage symbolsk manipulation af matematiske udtryk;[2] herunder at løse ligninger med eksakte løsninger.[3] Flere CAS-værktøjer kan også beregne differentialkvotienter og stamfunktioner; enkelte kan endda løse differentialligninger algebraisk.[4]
