Raspberry Pi és una placa computadora (SBC) de baix cost desenvolupada en el Regne Unit per la Fundació Raspberry Pi. Des de el 29 de Febrer de 2012, es pot realitzar comandes en les pàgines web distribuïdores de components electrònics Farnell y RS Components.[1] La fundació planeja llançar dos versions amb un preu entre $25 y $35. EL seu objetiu és estimular la ensenyança de les ciències de la computació en les escoles.[2][3][4][5][6]
El disseny inclou un processador ARM1176JZF-S a 700 MHz y 256 MiB de memòria RAM amb l'objetiu d'executar Linux o RISC OS.[7][8] El disseny no inclou un disc dur o una unitat d'estat sòlid, utilitza una targeta SD per a l'emmagatzematge permanent.'

Model A y Model B son referencies culturals[11] a els models originals del ordenador educacional britànic BBC Micro, desenvolupat per Acorn Computers qui originalment desenvolupa la família de processadors d'ARM i el sistema operatiu RISC OS el qual funcionarà en Raspberry Pi en el futur.[8]
