Haplotaxodon microlepis és una espècie de peix de la família dels cíclids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

Alimentació

Menja zooplàncton.[5]

Depredadors

És depredat per Perissodus microlepis[6] i Plecodus straeleni.[7][8]

Hàbitat

És una espècie de clima tropical entre 23 °C-28 °C de temperatura.[9][3]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a Àfrica: llac Tanganyika.[3][10][11][12]
