Course description
In this course, students focus on the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of computer and IT training. Students investigate and apply various content delivery strategies and methods. Planned change strategies, including addressing resistance to change, for technology implementation will also be addressed, along with the application of relevant learning theories and evaluation of IT training effectiveness.
Wikipedia assignment
Wikipedia will be explored and analyzed as a community of practice and an open content delivery system. This project will explore the principles and culture of Wikipedia. A requirement of this project will include analysis of three Wikipedia articles and with a partner, editing a Wikipedia article related to a learning concept or theory, and a reflection paper discussing your editing/learning process.
