Early years

Robinson attended St. Mary’s Preparatory where he played football, and, in his senior season, led them to the Division 3 state championship game. He was a teammate of former Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden.[1]

Robinson committed to Penn State on November 29, 2010 after being recruited by Ron Vanderlinden.[2] He had also received offers from Minnesota, Buffalo, and Toledo.

College Career

2011

Robinson appeared in 12 games and caught 3 passes for 29 yards during the season. He made his first career start in the Leaders Division championship game against Wisconsin. [1]

2012

After losing Justin Brown, who transferred to Oklahoma, Devon Smith who transferred to Marshall, and Curtis Drake, who was dismissed after a violation of team rules, Robinson was quickly thrust into the spotlight as the team’s number one returning receiver.[3] [4] He quickly struck an accord with new coach Bill O'Brien and quarterback Matt McGloin,[5] and subsequently caught 9 passes for 97 yards in the team’s first game of the year against Ohio[6] .

Personal

Robinson is the son of Allen Sr. and Tracie Robinson. He has a sister, Ashley. He is studying to become a sports broadcaster. [1]
