After spending the 2007 and 2008 season's as primarily a special teamer, Grimes turned out an impressive 2009 season, registering 66 tackles and 6 interceptions. Im Jahr 1956 gründete Alfred Scholpp in Stuttgart das gleichnamige Transportgeschäft. In den 1970er Jahren etablierte das Familienunternehmen den Montagebereich und entwickelte unter anderem die ersten Spezialhubgerüste für die Druckindustrie. Seit den frühen 1990er Jahren baute SCHOLPP die Industriemontage aus und gründete Niederlassungen und Tochtergesellschaften in China, Malaysia und Spanien. 2007 wurde in Fulda unter der Marke TimeProfessionals eine Zeitarbeitsfirma gegründet. In den Folgejahren kaufte SCHOLPP die SK Industrieservice GmbH im sächsischen Freital (2008) und integrierte einen Teilbetrieb der Grohmann ISM GmbH, Berlin, (2011) in die SCHOLPP Gruppe. Die in Oberhausen ansässige PTC PressEngineering GmbH wurde 2012 eine 100-prozentige Tochter von SCHOLPP. Durch den Erwerb der ProTec-Gruppe in Nürnberg und den Kauf des Teilbetriebes F.W. Neukirch Schwermontagen, Bremen, wuchs SCHOLPP 2014 noch einmal an.
