Hallo Schnark, ich habe eine Frage zum Code für das Bandersnatch-Skript; wenn ich das richtig verstehe, kann man z. B. mithilfe dieses Skripts Weiterleitungen korrigieren oder etwa die Fehler, die Aka mit seinem Skript auftut – nur scheitert der Einsatz des Skripts bei mir daran, dass ich als Resultat auf den JS-Code die Meldung bekomme, der Text, den ich ersetzen möchte, sei auf den Seiten nicht vorhanden. Was mache ich falsch? Ich hatte zum Test eine Buchstabenfolge auf meiner Benutzer- und meiner Benutzerdiskussionsseite erstellt, die entfernt werden sollten, das hat leider nicht funktioniert… Als Code habe ich verwendet

- Die Variablennamen sind durch das Skript vorgegeben, der Code muss daher lauten
return {text: oldText.replace("Falscher", "Richtiger")};
- oder in Langfassung
var alt = oldText;
var neu = alt.replace("Falscher", "Richtiger");
return {text: neu};
- Unterhalb des Eingabebereichs für den Code ist eine Testumgebung (eingeklappt), da kannst du testen, ob sich dein Code dann so verhält, wie du es dir vorstellst. --Schnark 09:11, 18. Aug. 2015 (CEST)

- Was mir gerade auffällt: Wenn ich eine Syntaxersetzung durchführen lasse, bei der der zu ersetzende Quelltext mehrfach auf der Seite vorkommt, führt Bandersnatch nur jeweils eine Änderung durch – mache ich da etwas falsch? Viele Grüße --Filterkaffee (Diskussion) 19:40, 4. Sep. 2015 (CEST)

ersetzt standardmäßig nur das erste Vorkommen, das ist in JavaScript so. Wenn alle Vorkommen ersetzt werden sollen, musst du einen regulären Ausdruck mitg

- Da man im Code alles verwenden kann, was in JavaScript erlaubt ist, sind im Prinzip alle JS-Dokumentationen gute weiterreichende Erklärungen, etwa [1]. Je nachdem, was du eigentlich genau erreichen willst, also etwas in der Form

Seitenaufbaustörung
Hallo Schnark, hast du da schon irgendetwas herausgefunden? Da ich leider von diesen technischen Details wie man solche Fehler einkreisen kann nichts verstehe, kann ich dem Anfragenden auf der Phab-Seite auch keine genaueren Infos anbieten. Im Augenblick habe ich keine Störung, aber ich weiß ja auch nicht wie man sie bewusst auslösen könnte. Zumindest wäre es für mich hilfreich wenn ich wüsste wann der Fehler nicht mehr auftritt, damit ich meine js-Einstellungen, die ich derzeit zu Testzwecken ausgeblendet habe, wieder normal benutzen kann. Betroffen ist bei mir immer auch die Funktion des Syntaxhighlights, was dann nicht angezeigt wird. Das liegt aber vermutlich eher daran, dass der Seitenaufbau gar nicht bis dorthin kommt, denke ich, wie gesagt völlig ahnungslos, was diese Dinge angeht. - Wie ich auf Phabricator schrieb, hat diese Änderung das Problem vermutlich behoben, auch wenn nicht klar ist, wie das mit
mediawiki.ui.anchor

Es gibt zwei Problem-Ebenen:
- Wir machen einen Fehler.
- Das kann ein echter (auch nur gelegentlicher) Fehler sein, wie wir ihn neulich in Commmon.js verursacht haben.
- Es kann durch die komische MW-Änderung von vor zwei Wochen bedingt sein, die jetzt irgendwas am ready-Zustand flickt und die weitere Abfolge beeinflusst.
- Das Tracking-System von K./MW ist nicht robust und löst selbst Fehler aus, die es dann wieder einfängt und sich selbst meldet, und sich dabei selbst überschreibt.
- Die Angabe eines CSS-Moduls als angeblicher Auslöser ist so ein falscher Fehler.
- Erinnert mich sehr an phab:T108157.
Nebenbei habe ich wikieditor-Extrabuttons im Verdacht, seit Neuestem ein Fehlerauslöser zu sein; vielleicht wegen der MW-Geschichte vor zwei Wochen erst geworden.
- Ló hat das jetzt mal auskommentiert; siehe ihre BD dazu.
- Wenn das jetzt plötzlich nicht mehr auftritt und nach einem Revert dann wieder passiert, ist das relativ sicher eingekreist. Auf FZW wird nichts berichtet; muss ein Feature sein, das nur wenige haben.
- WSTM löst seit Sonntag einen mw.hook() aus.
- Damit ließe sich die Knopfdefinition ohne when und after vielleicht etwas übersichtlicher formulieren. Ich selbst habe von dem Zeugs keine Ahnung.
- Auf Benutzerin:Lómelinde/common.js kommt noch etwas vor, das auch schon einmal von Ló in einer zerschossenen Endlos-Fehlermeldung berichtet wurde:
- mw.loader.load(load.php?modules=ext.gadget.CollapsibleNav
- Das Dingens prüft vermutlich nicht, wie etwa MediaWiki:Gadget-wikEd.js, den Ladezustand nochmal explizit nach (identische Erfüllung), sondern verlässt sich darauf, dass in MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition die dependencies angegeben wurden.
- Wenn also Fehler ausgelöst wurden und anschließend das MW-tracking rumspinnt, dann haben wir vom Tracking auch nix.
