  • curprev 05:3405:34, 24 February 2021 Matthew Macaulay talk contribs 2,887 bytes −529 I deleted this because it is incorrect, the catalogue has statements by all the artists mentioning how they either worked from nature, or responded to experiencing nature. So they painted the experience nature, this is abstraction, not abstract/concrete as it does references things outside the painting. Bowness, and lately Gayford, both seems to ignore what the artist said at the time about how they made their work.   • curprev 05:1105:11, 24 February 2021 Matthew Macaulay talk contribs m 3,416 bytes +427 The information was misleading as it made it sound like the artists were exhibiting landscapes, and that other artists who where associated to the ‘group’ exhibited. I’ve seen the paintings and read the catalogue for my doctorate the intentions of these artists was to make paintings that were abstractions from nature.
