Her job is not "feminist", which is what was listed before. She is indeed a feminist (and a great one at that!) but listing her job as "feminist and social/political activist" is not only repetitive but it excludes her main job at Ms magazine, which was as a journalist & editor and co-founder. Her career in journalism is crucial to mention in the context of this page and excluding it was a major oversight that needed correcting. undo Tag: Visual edit

The NYmag article lists three co-founding editors, including Steinem, but explicitly does not list Carbine as co-founder. It seems that many people would have to be listed if we were to list Carbine. undo
