Remove the "In the strictly technical sense" noise, as it's inaccurate. Put the "double forking blah blah blah" way of starting a daemon at the end, and give more of he usual ways. Just speak of the "blah blah blah" as necessary for daemons run from the command line, as most of that is getting rid of stuff a "launched from init" daemon doesn't have in the first place. undo
