This theory by Vuong is not established in the acculturation literature. It certainly does not belong into a Wikipedia article as established theories. The literature citing Vuong’s work are mostly of his own, or of his affiliates. Moreover, the idea of mindsponge theory has serious flaws in its epistemiology, showing a superficial understanding of neuroscience, loosely tying it to the cultural level of reasoning.
