BNXT League format

Hi all, I've noticed that in the article BNXT League there seems to be an inconsistency regarding the format of the league. But I'm not really familiar with that league. So, problem is: There it says "Starting from the 2024–25 season [...] The highest ranked teams from each country play national playoffs, and the two national winners play for the BNXT championship"

Now, the season article at 2024–25 BNXT League doesn't mention those finals for the BNXT championship at all in the results overview. It looks like the first place in regular season simply was the champion of that league. Does someone know more about this? Bthfan (talk) 06:32, 11 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, to partially answer my own question: A bit further down in the league article it says "Since the 2024–25 season, the BNXT League championship has been awarded to the club that finishes first in the regular season.". So I guess the initial change of the league format was later changed again. If someone can find a source for this it would be good if you can add this to the article (and fix the other part). Proposed deletion of Ahli Sarba BC

The article Ahli Sarba BC has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged as Unreferenced for 12 years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. 4th tier basketball team. Not notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Category cleanup question

I was cleaning up Lucas Nogueira’s article and saw that he was in two very similar-sounding categories - Category:Associação de Basquete Cearense players (created December 2018) and Category:Associação de Basquete Cearense basketball players (created July 2019). I assume these refer to the same team and one should be deleted. But does anyone know Brazilian sport well enough to recommend which is correct? Typically we would keep the one that does not have the word “basketball” in it, but there are also cases like Category:Fenerbahçe men's basketball players where the club sponsors multiple sports and the sport name is necessary. @Rikster2 Basquet already means basketball so the second basketball is redundant. I have moved the pages to the 1st cat and made a cat redirect at the second cat. ^{Dieter Lloyd Wexler} 17:00, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
