Greengrounds opening response confirms violation of No Personal Attacks rule

[edit]

Dear editors, the tone of Greengrounds participation on wikipedia is reflected in his opening response to this request for comment, which also confirms user:Hcc01's first complaint against him (violation of WP: No personal attacks). He goes directly to an ad hominem personal attack on me, saying: "first off Ozhistory is a known liar" - and he does not address any of the concerns raised by Hcc01 or myself in relation to his conduct. Despite the fact that I was not the instigator of this complaint, his focus is clearly and unfairly against me.

As editors will see, the "proof" which Greengrounds provides that I am a "known liar" is an open discussion on user:Deadbeef's talk page, in which he makes a series of inaccurate allegations, and refers to my edits on quote "Adolf Hitler" unquote being the subject of edit warring (rather than the Religious views of Adolf Hitler page, in which I was indeed drawn into an "edit war" by Greengrounds early participation on that page, as the editor concerned - ie Deadbeef - was obviously already aware).

Greengrounds violations of the no-personal attacks and civility rules continue unabated elsewhere (see ""you are a liar and you know it" here; "I'm dealing with a pathological liar" here) and a further editor, user:Integrtiyandhonesty, has noted his aggressive tone in a recent exchange on Catholic Church and Nazi Germany. Another allegation appearing in Greengrounds opening response is that he was not informed of this request for comments regarding his behaviour. this is not correct. Hcc01 informed him in advance of the intention, and confirmed that he had taken the action here. Hcc01 wrote as follows:

It's done, Ozhistory, Greengrounds. I have opened a requests for comments page. Greengrounds - I am doing it this way because I want to give you every chance to understand what the problem is and why you need to rethink your approach. If an agreement can't be reached, I think we are looking at an Administrator being brought in.Hcc01 (talk) 15:11, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Obviously, Greengrounds' comment that no such courtesy had been provided to him, is not correct. Ozhistory (talk) 01:16, 12 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
