Regarding "tidy stats table format" changes like this one: I don't feel strongly about how the table code is written but bear in mind that "[cosmetic changes] may be allowed in an edit that also includes a substantive change" but "should not usually be done on their own" per WP:COSMETICBOT. @Robby.is.on: - apologies, i was running awb to add table captions and standardise headers (and so the cosmetic changes were to standardise the wikitext layout so regex find and replace could be used) and then skipping when no substantial edit was made - for some reason I saved here even though no substantive edit was made. Guinea national team results

Hello. The match dates on this page do not fully match some of the information in RSSSF Player Page. For example Chérif Souleymane scored a goal on each Guinea Tournament in 1967 but it says tournament on 1966. You can use these player pages for improvement like this. I created the page, but since I'm no longer as involved as I used to be, I won't be able to provide support, but I wanted to show another source. Moreover, bottom of the RSSSF page, it says "Author: Roberto Mamrud (roberto.mamrud@gmail.com)". Maybe, if you contact with him, he may provide info about pre-1980 goalscorers like "Ibrahim "Petit Sory" KEITA (scored 12 goals between 1967-1977) which is not regarded on Guinea national team results page. @Sabri76: - thank you, I am not really sure why a discrepancy between sources exists for the year of Guinea tournament - the tournament page gives match dates of 28 Aug and 30 Aug, as does an archived version of the results list though the current version shows 28 Sep 1966 and 2 Oct 1966, and the Souleymane player page shows 28 Aug and 30 Aug 1967. As the most recently updated of these pages, the updated results list, supports 28 Sep and 2 Oct, I will leave those dates on the article, but yeah it might be worth following this up with the RSSSF researchers at some point. Thank you as well for bringing up the RSSSF player pages as a source for goalscorers, I hadnt thought to use them before :).
