Citations

[edit]

Hi, Muhammadhumy. Citations are used to provide sources for statements in articles, and are supposed to be placed at the end of a sentence or paragraph of text that they support (see WP:INLINECITE). Kanguole 12:42, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

okay now I understand thank you Muhammadhumy (talk) 12:59, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you do, because you're still adding citations to the start of articles. Kanguole 13:57, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

If you have found a source that might be useful for an article, the appropriate place to put it (without <ref> tags) is a Further reading section near the bottom of the article (see MOS:FURTHER). Kanguole 12:55, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Molotov cocktail, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A bare URL error. References show this error when one of the URL-containing parameters cannot be paired with an associated title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 13:33, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Refs

[edit]

Please stop adding refs! You're adding them incorrectly and most of the refs you've added have nothing to do with the articles. I am reverting your edits. If you continue, you may be blocked. Schazjmd (talk) 13:50, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Also, your edit summaries indicate that you're participating in the 1Lib1Ref campaign; that ended June 5. Schazjmd (talk) 14:05, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
