Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Mohammad Habibur Rahman (politician). When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. Units
[edit]Abedin,
I saw you reverting edit of another user who had removed the unit names from the 11th Infantry Division (Bangladesh). As a person who has been directly related to the army since 2007, I can assure you that there is a tendency of military units shifting from one place to another. There are no present proof of them being assigned under 11th Division. Again, the reason for your revert is partially valid. Not many newspaper have mentioned exact details of an unit, they merely mention one or two units. But here we are talking about exactly specifying units about both combat & support arms, which is too explicit to be exposed in tbe public domain. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 11:16, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Lt.gen.zephyr If "there is a tendency of military units shifting from one place to another" and "there are no present proof of them being assigned under 11th Division", then there is no reason to worry and saying it is "too explicit to be exposed in tbe public domain" is contradiction here. Did you removed that information from the page? Because you said that you are directly related to the army. So, WP:COI matters here. By the way, outdated information is still relevant in Wikipedia, we can write "as of 20XX" to clarify. But if you still think that the text should be removed, then you can do it, I will not revert again. Mehedi Abedin 12:56, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Abedin,
- Thanks for clarifying. However, I didn't remove the information. Another thing, I mentioned there is a tendency of shifting military units, but I didn't say that those units have been shifted.
- If you see similar articles about our neighbouring countries, such as 5th Infantry Division (India) or the 34th Light Infantry Division (Pakistan) you will see they do not mention unit names there. In my opinion, mentioning brigades are somewhat okay, but we should not mention units specifically, as it should not be available at public domain. This is a serious information about our military, which should remain within the military. I think we should remove specified unit names from other articles as well, including cantonments and division articles. 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿 (ᴛᴀʟᴋ) 14:27, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Lt.gen.zephyr Done. Mehedi Abedin 16:24, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Abedin, Thanks. Can you please refer me to any discussion where I can address the issue? I've seen alot of articles mentioning specific locations about the units, which needs to be removed. There are many misinformation as well. For example : It is mentioned in the 17th Infantry Division (Bangladesh) that 61st, 64th and 65th East Bengal Regiment are assigned under 52th brigade, but in reality, only 64th East Bengal is under 52th brigade, the other two units have been replaced with two units of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment. - @Lt.gen.zephyr Don't know, maybe Wikipedia:Teahouse will help. Mehedi Abedin 18:36, 25 September 2025 (UTC)

location of former Fulbaria railway station
[edit]Thank you for undoing my mistake at Fulbaria railway station. Could you please add the correct name of the neighbourhood where the station was located, together with a reference for that information if you can find one? Eastmain (talk • contribs) 19:16, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Eastmain The last source of the article says that it was located near Bangabazar. However, the Bangabazar article states that the bazaar is in Fulbaria. Fulbaria is between Old Dhaka and New Dhaka. It is not clear from the sources, but I guess the station was in Fulbaria which was a residential area in past. I added the specific area name on the article. Mehedi Abedin 19:35, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
