Hello, I'm Arcrev1. I noticed that in this edit to Rendani Airport, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arcrev1 (talk) 13:37, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
- Because there is no resumption flights to Makassar, so I just remove it. Currently only one airline which operates flights to Makassar is Super Air Jet. Davgrx7646 (talk) 13:49, 14 July 2025 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Mandalay International Airport. Cassiopeia talk 10:03, 27 August 2025 (UTC)
- But I was just trying to remove the destination which is no longer served from this airport, my apologies. Davgrx7646 (talk) 10:06, 27 August 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Danners430. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Airfast Indonesia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation, your edit is archived in the page history. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Danners430 tweaks made 10:17, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- Well, I was editing the airlines and destinations content so I'm adding a few terminated international routes which was served by Airfast in the past. But I'm only provide a better source for the terminated Cairns route so I forgot to add the terminated ones.
- Regards,
- David Davgrx7646 (talk) 10:41, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- Hi I'm Davgrx746, well I was wondering if I wanted to add the photos on Wikipedia page, so please give me some tips. Davgrx7646 (talk) 09:26, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- The first thing to do is have a read of the WP:Image use policy - this gives you some general guidelines. To me the most important is “Wikipedia is not an image repository”. The way to think about it is when adding an image, ask yourself if the image is actually adding anything to the article - would it aid a reader in understanding the content?
- For example, in an article about an airline’s fleet, it can be helpful to have an image of each major aircraft type (eg. One of a 787, one of a 737, one of an A350), as they help the reader visualise the aircraft. But if you were to add two or three images of the same aircraft type, are the second and third images actually doing anything except being eye candy?
- Finally, if you’re adding an image, try and find the best quality image of the subject you’re looking for on Commons. It doesn’t need to be the most recent - quality is more important than newness. Is it well lit, with no shadows obscuring important parts or overexposed colours where the colours are somewhat important?
- Hope this helps :) Danners430 tweaks made 09:37, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Like buildings (such as airports) or something Davgrx7646 (talk) 10:06, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
- Again - what does it add to the article? I would agree an image of a terminal building would be a good addition - just don’t go over the top. But perhaps if there’s mention of air traffic control an image of the tower? Danners430 tweaks made 11:33, 29 August 2025 (UTC)

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Aerolíneas Argentinas, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, you may be blocked from editing. Danners430 tweaks made 08:18, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Well, I was just trying to remove the terminated destinations which was served from Chengdu to other cities.
- I'm sorry Davgrx7646 (talk) 08:20, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Which is great - but we need a source that unequivocally states the routes have terminated, and put that in the edit summary. As of right now, there’s a source stating the route is operating, and text from yourself saying it hasn’t, but no source. Danners430 tweaks made 08:27, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, then I will fix the problem. I know that the route is still operating or not Davgrx7646 (talk) 13:02, 24 August 2025 (UTC)
- Unfortunately our own knowledge isn't usable as a source - it's WP:OR. What's needed is a link to a reliable source in the edit summary when you remove the route. Danners430 tweaks made 13:03, 24 August 2025 (UTC)

Airports
[edit]It would be appreciated when you use the summary box to explain what/why you have done your edits. Now you remove airlines without any explanation, like you did on Amborovy Airport. The Banner talk 12:44, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
Undid your edit
[edit]I undid your latest edit on Thomas Sankara International Airport Ouagadougou as it was a revert of my edit, without any clarification. Because of that my bare url fix was undone. Rofraja (talk) 03:20, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, sorry that was my latest edit because when I was trying to remove Air Burkina destination to Abidjan because I thought that the route is no longer operated. Davgrx7646 (talk) 05:34, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
Deleting routes
[edit]You are deleting a large number of routes from airports, asserting that they are no longer flown... yet on airline websites those routes remain on sale for future dates in the current year. You should note that a number of flights, especially charters, do not appear on FlightRadar24 every single day. Why are you so insistent on deleting when tickets for these routes remain on sale ? Wibwob28 (talk) 11:05, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Well, because I want to remove them because I think that the routes which operated from the other airports is no longer operated and especially for the charter flights, these routes are operated in the past and i'm not sure if the other airlines is still booking these flights or not.
- Well in Greek airports, especially for the seasonal charter flights. the airline is still operating flights to Scandinavian countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark but it was ended years ago. Davgrx7646 (talk) 11:35, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- My apologies. Davgrx7646 (talk) 11:36, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) If the route is unsourced, feel free to remove it. However, if there is a source for the route operating, then you need a source to state that the source is no longer operating - as we discussed above. Danners430 tweaks made 11:36, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I forgot to add the citation needed for the route, my apologies. Davgrx7646 (talk) 11:40, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- If you're adding routes then you can't add it and simply put [citation needed] next to it - it'll just get (rightly) removed. If you're adding new routes, you need to provide the source that it exists. Danners430 tweaks made 11:41, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I forgot to add the citation needed for the route, my apologies. Davgrx7646 (talk) 11:40, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- I share the concern about you mass deleting connections. Do you have any sources to back up your claims or is it just WP:OR? The Banner talk 12:51, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- I am seriously concerned about your edits now. Unexplained removals and now an edit that showed your doubt about an edit you were making. But doubt about a connection is NOT proof that the connection has ended. The Banner talk 13:19, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sorry, I know that. I know you're really concerned about my edits because I tried to remove it and I thought that the flights were still operated and I'm not sure if the other airlines is still booking or not and i'm really confused about that. Davgrx7646 (talk) 13:25, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
- When you have any doubt, you should leave it. And you should double check each and every connection if they are really stopped. The Banner talk 14:20, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Salzburg Airport, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. - Yeah, I will follow these rules so I will never remove the route again. and I have to add some citation so they have to find a better source, I know that. and I will edit a better one for that. Davgrx7646 (talk) 13:35, 4 September 2025 (UTC)

- The method here is very simple.
- If a route has a source, you require a source which states that the route is no longer operating. You can put this in your edit summary, but anything you remove which is properly sourced requires a "counter-source" which supersedes the existing one.
- None of your recent changes which remove a massive amount of routes has a source which supersedes the existing sources. You must provide these. Danners430 tweaks made 14:18, 4 September 2025 (UTC)
Hello! Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia, and in particular for adding references, as you did to Enfidha–Hammamet International Airport! However, adding a bare URL is not ideal, and exposes the reference to link rot. It is preferable to use proper citation templates when citing sources, including details such as title, author, date, and any other information necessary for a bibliographic citation. Here's an example of a full citation using the {{cite web}} template to cite a web page:
Lorem ipsum<ref>{{cite web |title=Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac |publisher=Canon Inc |work=Ask a Question |date=2022 |url=https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART174839 |access-date=2022-04-02}}</ref> dolor sit amet.
which displays inline in the running text of the article as:
- Lorem ipsum[1] dolor sit amet.
and displays under References as:
- ^ Download the Scanning Software - Windows and Mac". Ask a Question. Canon Inc. 2022. Retrieved 2022-04-02.
If you've already added one or more bare URLs to an article, there are tools available to expand them into full citations: try the Citer tool, or in the wikitext editor, try the reFill tool, and in the Visual Editor, the reference dialog can convert some bare urls into a full citation. Once again, thanks for adding references to articles. Danners430 tweaks made 06:05, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
- You're welcome, I always wanted to add these references because I'm really good at editing and for you. You're the best mentor I ever had! Davgrx7646 (talk) 09:00, 5 September 2025 (UTC)
- You’re still adding bare URL references such as at Wizz Air - please use full references as described above. Danners430 tweaks made 10:48, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- Okay, I got that. Well I was trying to add the end date because that means Wizz Air is going to cease their base operations by March 2026, I tried to add it but I can't because i thought was a cite news or something, so I add the bare URL reference. Davgrx7646 (talk) 11:46, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- If in doubt and it's a URL, I would just use Cite Web as the template. What you can do is use tools like Citer which generate the citation for you - you just paste the URL into the box, choose the style you prefer and the style of the dates, and it'll spit out the formatted citation for you. Just click the "Copy" or "Copy ref without name" under the Named Reference field and it copies it to your clipboard, ready to be pasted into the article :-) Danners430 tweaks made 11:58, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
- We’re still adding bare URLs… please try and use full references. It’s what tools like Citer (linked above) are for. Danners430 tweaks made 09:06, 22 September 2025 (UTC)
- @Davgrx7646 you’re still adding bare URLs. This is why tools like Citer exist. Please use them or structure the citations manually, but please don’t use bare URLs. Danners430 tweaks made 13:13, 28 September 2025 (UTC)

- You’ve been told multiple times that when you remove sourced content you must provide a new source that explicitly states the route has been cancelled. This can be in the edit summary, but you must provide a source. You’ve already been reported to WP:AIV because of how frequently you’ve been warned, and because you appear to be ignoring the warnings. Danners430 tweaks made 09:36, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- My apologies Davgrx7646 (talk) 09:37, 6 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Davgrx7646. I figured that I'd step in here and try and help you out a little bit. You need to make sure that you specify the changes you're making with each of your edits by using the edit summary. If other users have concerns with any content that you're changing, you should start a new discussion on the article's talk page and explain further why you believe that the content should be modified, and wait for other users to respond with concerns before you make any of the same changes again. This will help others to understand what you're doing and why, as well as help you to understand why any changes you make are being reverted. You can also reach out to any users directly and talk to them about your concerns as well. In this discussion, Danners430 is expressing concerns that your changes are not being referenced to any sources. Knowing this wouldn't have been possible had neither one of you talked things out with one another here. In a nutshell, the key item that you're missing here with all of this is communication. Try your best to summarize your edits and discuss any concerns with other editors if there's a disagreement that's occurring, and you'll find your editing experience to be much easier for not just yourself, but anyone else involved. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:43, 6 September 2025 (UTC)

Let me give you a polite warning. I have earlier voiced my concern about your competence. And I will keep that concern, just based on what I see in your edits: unexplained removals, non-independent sources etc. Please, please up the quality of your work. Better just a few edits good than loads questionable. And knowing how Wikipedia works after all my years, you can expect that your edits will now get even more scrutiny. So please, up your game. Danners430 tweaks made 13:32, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- The reason why I remove it because I thought that the route was operated in the past, so it was like they're still booking the flights or not, for example. Russian charter airline Nordwind Airlines operated a charter flight to Russian cities in 2017 and then I saw on their website and found out that it was no longer booked, about charter flights to Oradea, Romania which operated by HiSky is no longer operated. Davgrx7646 (talk) 13:39, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- That’s great - but there’s a source which states the route is operating, so we need a source to state the route has ended or is not operating. Even if you just put it in the edit summary (the only time that works), that’s what we need. Danners430 tweaks made 13:47, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
