Your submission at Articles for creation: The Fantasy Footballers (January 19)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by I dream of horses was:
This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Not independently sourced, either.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

The comment the reviewer left was:
Quite aside from that the article's drafter, User:Crameraj, is a new editor whose Wikipedia activity is mostly focused on working on draft articles (curiously enough), only a handful of new edits have been made, and those cosmetic only in nature. The promotional tone hasn't changed, nor the lack of reliable, third-party, independent sources addressed. I strongly recommend to User:Crameraj that he cease further submissions of this draft until the issues that have caused three rejections are addressed.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

User talk:Ravenswing Thank you for reviewing the article. Could you please recommend some independent sources that podcasts use? Would I be better deleting the non-independent sources and leaving the information unreferenced?

As far as being like an advertisement, I've tried to model the page after other podcast company pages like Feral Audio and Crooked Media. Are there specific areas of the Fantasy Footballer's article that are a problem? Crameraj (talk) 16:07, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User talk:Ravenswing I believe I have removed the advertisement information from the article. Could you please re-review? Crameraj (talk) 22:17, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by NewYorkActuary was:
This submission's references do not adequately show the subject's notability. Wikipedia requires significant coverage (not just mere mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject—see the general guideline on notability, the golden rule and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. Please improve the submission's referencing (see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners and Help:Introduction to referencing/1), so that the information is verifiable, and there is clear evidence of why the subject is notable and worthy of inclusion in an encyclopedia. If additional reliable sources cannot be found for the subject, then it may not be suitable for Wikipedia at this time.
The comment the reviewer left was:
This subject was deleted via an Articles for Deletion discussion nine years ago, where the only "keep" vote stated that the article would be useful in explaining the rules to people who played it. Nothing has changed since then -- there continues to be no demonstration that this contest is of interest to anyone outside of Miami University. Of the seventeen sources in this draft, eleven are to a student newspaper and three are two websites of fraternities. There's also somebody's blog. The only source that is close to being independent is a brief 1971 article in the local newspaper of a town where one of the campuses is located. None of this adds up to the in-depth coverage from reliable independent sources that we expect to see under our general notability guidelines. Perhaps a brief summary of the material might find a home in the "Greek life" section of Miami University, but I see no way this can become a stand-alone article.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Your submission at Articles for creation: The Fantasy Footballers (October 26)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Flat Out was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
The subject of the article fails the golden rule. It lacks coverage in reliable, third-party, independent sources and as such doesn't meet the the standard for notability.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Flat Out, thank you for performing the review. As I mentioned as a comment on the draft page, could you please provide additional feedback since this is a top podcast company in the fantasy football area? Is there another sports podcast you can reference that is an example of an acceptable article? Is there a specific section of the draft article that you feel is not appropriate for Wikipedia? Crameraj (talk) 21:21, 29 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Crameraj for the subject (the podcast) to be notable someone independent of the podcast needs to have written about it - not just mentioned it. If you can point to 2-3 articles about the podcast then I'll happily take another look. Flat Out (talk) 00:21, 1 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Flat Out These are the 4 articles which are independent and specifically about the company. Crameraj (talk) 14:31, 1 November 2018 (UTC) [reply]
