Under the "iPad models currently in production" it shows the wrong chip for the iPad mini

[edit]

It shows as the "A17" chip, when it should be the "A17 Pro" Yea-boi157 (talk) 16:24, 30 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This has been resolved. ‘Apple A17’ is now ‘Apple A17 Pro’. TwoGamer1000 (talk) 06:54, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Accessibility reference

[edit]

The article currently contains the text "Various accessibility described in § Accessibility functions enable users...". Evidently this is supposed to be a link to something, but to what? Riordanmr (talk) 21:59, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Update for “Type” in infobox

[edit]

Since the iPad is also mobile device like the iPhone and iPod, innit good to put that in the infobox? Eclairsblock (talk) 14:58, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

iPad Pro (2nd) 10.5-inch

[edit]

I have an iPad Pro (2nd) 10.5-inch (MQEY2HC/A) and the latest iOS installed is 17.7.8 and not 17.7.6. Swiwer (talk) 19:24, 6 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

No article on ‘iPad Air’

[edit]

I’ve noticed there are articles on iPad Mini and iPad Pro, but iPad Air is different and is instead a set index article. Do you think I should make the article more like the ones for the iPad Mini and iPad Pro?

Thanks, TwoGamer1000 (talk) 06:52, 4 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not a bad idea. I think it will come down to how much can be written about the product class, distinct from sources just talking about each product. Maybe start a draft at Draft:iPad Air and let people know... also probably let people know over at Talk:IPad Air and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Apple Inc. (and maybe even have a search through the archives there to see if it’s been discussed before).
When you’re creating the article, do copy text from other articles anywhere it’s helpful, but please make a note in your edit summaries and on that page’s talk page so that the copyright history is clear. OK, thank you. I'll start a draft and see what I can do. TwoGamer1000 05:13, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
