Expert Needed Tag

This article is in need of attention from an expert on the subject. The sections that need attention may be noted below.

After finishing some copy edits, I'm adding an expert needed tag to this page. The issues here, as far as I can tell, are reliance on just a few sources, some older refs that may not be up to date on current laws in China, and descriptions of gender differences in experiences of abuse that do not fully explain the topic.

I am hoping someone with more knowledge and experience on Chinese topics can improve this article by adding more references, expanding the section on child labour, and perhaps touch on the UN declarations on the rights on the child, and China's position on that. maryshelagh (talk) 21:13, 15 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
