Skynet Broadband Service

Skynet Broadband Service is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Benapole Port Thana, Sharsha Upazila, Jashore District, Bangladesh. It is regarded as the first stable and organized broadband provider in the region.

== History == Skynet Broadband Service began its operations on 1 February 2012, making it the earliest known structured ISP in Benapole. The company received its official ISP license from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on 27 March 2018. The license number is 14.32.0000.702.47.291.20.690, and it was issued specifically for the Benapole Port Thana area.

== Founding and Leadership == According to the Internet Service Provider Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), the founder of Skynet Broadband Service is Md. Noushad Talha. The company holds ISPAB membership number C-039 and operates under the Sharsha Upazila jurisdiction.

== Services == Skynet offers a variety of broadband packages, with services ranging from 15 Mbps to 50 Mbps (as of April 21, 2025). It utilizes 100% fiber-optic infrastructure, with support for residential, corporate, and enterprise-level internet services. Notable features include smart routing for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Netflix, as well as real-time technical support and online billing.

== Coverage == Skynet primarily operates in Benapole and surrounding areas within Sharsha Upazila. It has built a reputation for its responsive customer service, reliable uptime, and modern network infrastructure.

== Recognition == Skynet is often credited as the pioneer of broadband internet in Benapole. It is also considered one of the most trusted and technically advanced ISPs in the region.
