David Marinelli (born December 10th), known as marinelli, is a musician, songwriter and producer, based in Los Angeles, California[1][2].

Career

Marinelli began making music when he was a child, his mother whom was also a musician would take him to the studio with her, this led to him joining a rock band in high school, with him continuing to play in it during college.[1] Marinelli went on to play drums for Billie Eillish[3], before he debuted his solo career in early 2020 by releasing the single Turtleneck Sweater. In 2024 he played synthesiser for FINNEAS' album For Crying Out Loud[4], and accompanied him on the tour for the album. From 2023 to 2025 he worked with FINNEAS, Ashe and Matthew Fildey in the band, The Favors[5].
