Oscar White Muscarella

Oscar White Muscarella (* ?) ist ein US-amerikanischer vorderasiatischer Archäologe.

Er promovierte 1965 an der University of Pennsylvania. Seit 1964 ist er im Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York tätig. Sein Spezialgebiet ist die Kunst und Archäologie des antiken Nahen Ostens.

Bekannt wurde er als Kritiker des Antiken-Handels und unermüdlichen Gegner von Raubgrabungen. Daneben beschäftigte er sich
