Images

I searched in commons:Category:Combinatorics for images depicting the relationships between categories at different levels, but commons:File:Combinations without repetition; 5 choose 3.svg is the best image that I found. What I really want to find is, for each section, a diagram where (1) points represent categories and (2) categories having equal numbers of factors are horizontally collinear and (3) rows of points (representing categories) are ordered on the page by descending number of factors and (4) line segments connect points on consecutive rows.

Terminology

I am not completely satisfied with my choice of the word "factor" for an element of a category name, but I have not yet settled on a replacement. I have been considering alternatives such as "aspect", "element", "trait", "characteristic", "term", and "dimension". Names have elements, but categories also have elements. I have been studying some information in Category:Combinatorics and "Glossary of Terms in Combinatorics" at http://www.math.illinois.edu/~dwest/openp/gloss.html.
