Wijesekara Keyboard (also known as Sinhala Keyboard) is the only standard typewriter keyboard for sinhala script. This typewriter was first created and approved by the government of Sri Lanka in 1964.

In 2004, this was given the SLS standards as the Sri Lanka Sinhala Character Code for Information Interchange, SLS 1134 : 2004.[1]

By using AKURA sinhala typing Tutor you can learn how to use Wijesekara Keyboard in an efficient way. In the AKURA Sinhala Typing Tutor you can use Touch Typing technique which enables you to type quickly without ever looking at the Wijesekara Keyboard Layout with high accuracy.
