When dealing with computer system security, Lattice-Based Access Control (LBAC) may be applied to limit user access based on any combination of objects (such as resources, computers, and applications) and subjects (such as individuals, groups or organizations). LBAC is known as a subset of a lesser complex model known as Role-Based Access Control(RBAC).
