Argithea (Αργιθέα) is a municipality in the Karditsa Prefecture of Greece. Population 2,627 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Anthiro.

The name derives from King Argitheos of the Athamanians who rulled circa the 3rd to 2nd century B.C.
