The Chrysler Java

The Chrysler Java is a concept car created by the American car manufacturer, Chrysler. The Chrysler Java was first introduced at the 1999 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its design is mainly from Chrysler's Minivans.

The Engine

The Java is powered by a 1.4 litre 4-cylinder engine. The Java is a relatively slow vehicle since its top speed is about 105 miles per hour. The Java can go from zero to sixty in approximately 12.9 seconds. It uses a five-speed manual transmission.

The Design

An alternate paint job was later introduced to the Chrysler Java concept car.

The Java's design is more likely architectual than automotive. The Java has an egg-like shape. The tall upright tail lamps that sort of remind people of the Fiat Punto. The paint job, though, is sort of odd since the Java has two different paint jobs. One of the paint jobs is black, and the other is a light green-silver metallic.
