The Create Project is a web-based community focuses on communication and sharing between Free and Open Source Creative applications[1]. Initially created by FreeDesktop.org members as a third-party space for collaboration between Blender, GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus, Audacity, Open Clip Art Library and other successful projects which produce much video, audio, illustrations, photos, and other content, it is responsible for creating the annual Libre Graphics Meeting[2] and several community-developed standards such as the OpenRaster, Shared Resources Specification, Open Swatch Book format and more[3].
