Compute Node Linux is a runtime environment for the Cray XT3, Cray XT4 and Cray XT5 supercomputer systems based on the SLES Linux distribution. As of November 2008 systems running CNL are ranked 2nd, 7th and 8th among the fastest supercomputers. [1]
