Question from Football Recorded (16:24, 23 September 2025)
How can I just post publicly to wikipedia the article i just made for footballer Ioannis Drikakis? It is currently in my sandbox. --Football Recorded (talk) 16:24, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, @Football Recorded! Just place
{{subst:submit}}at the very top of your sandbox and a reviewer should take a look at it for publishing. Chlod (top • contribs) 23:47, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Category:User dart-5

A tag has been placed on Category:User dart-5 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 06:19, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Can't believe Wikipedia has no professional dart programmers. CMD (talk) 10:24, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- Not surprised, it's a pretty obscure language that nowadays is mostly superseded by stuff like React Native. Chlod (top • contribs) 10:25, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Question from ᱯᱨᱚᱯᱷᱮᱥᱥᱚᱨ (04:03, 26 September 2025)
- Note: ᱯᱨᱚᱯᱷᱮᱥᱥᱚᱨ's mentor Dudhhr is away.
If I find an article which is manipulated using the recent books published by unreputed author or unauthorised data, how can I modify those articles as before. --Karya | ⌨️💬 | 04:03, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, @ᱯᱨᱚᱯᱷᱮᱥᱥᱚᱨ! If you suspect that an article takes content from an unreliable source, you can be bold and remove the content yourself. If other editors disagree with you, raise your concerns on the article's talk page. A more advanced option is a discussion on the reliable sources noticeboard, but it's a more involved process that I wouldn't suggest for a newcomer. Talk page title
Hello, I came across your talk page by chance and noticed the title of the page is impossible to read when using dark mode. You could use the codex's colour variables instead of hardcoding a colour, that way it the title would be accessible to both light and dark mode users. Just thought I'd let you know :) SnowyRiver28 (talk) 12:41, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, @SnowyRiver28! I don't use Vector 2022 so I never noticed. I've fixed the color issue, hopefully it looks better now. :) Chlod (top • contribs) 04:40, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Looks great! Thanks for fixing it up :) SnowyRiver28 (talk) 07:47, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
Will RedWarn turn into Ultraviolet soon?
Hi @Chlod, when Ultraviolet is 100% complete, will RedWarn be removed and turn into Ultraviolet? If yes, I have installed RedWarn, so will my RedWarn be deleted and I will have to manually install Ultraviolet, or will RedWarn automatically change to Ultraviolet? Thanks, ~Rafael (He, him) • talk • guestbook • projects 04:00, 9 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, @Rafaelthegreat! When Ultraviolet is complete, RedWarn won't be removed, but we will ask users to switch over to Ultraviolet. We would prefer to avoid editing your common.js file directly, so this will have to be done manually. We'll consider adding an option for automatic migration later down the line. Question from Kathleen Twitchell on List of Carnegie libraries in Missouri (16:37, 11 October 2025)
Hello, this is Kathleen Twitchell. I want to publish the fact that our Louisiana Public Library continues to be open to the public as of 2025. Why is my edit not showing up? Thank you for your help! --Kathleen Twitchell (talk) 16:37, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, @Kathleen Twitchell! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. I've fixed the note on the page. The
<!-- -->notation around the text turns it into an invisible comment, which can only be seen when editing. I've removed it, which means the text now shows up on the table.

DCWC closing update
Two weeks ago, the 2025 Developing Countries WikiContest came to a close! After three months of stiff competition at the top of the leaderboard, we have our winners.
vigilantcosmicpenguin (submissions), continuing his work on covering abortion in Africa, comes in third with 692 points.
simongraham (submissions) comes in second with 763 points, largely from a slew of good articles about jumping spiders. And returning to the podium for the second year in a row,
BeanieFan11 (submissions) takes the Gold Belt Buckle with a mind-boggling 946 points from his series of articles on sportpersons. Congratulations to our winners!
Amazingly, the award for the most countries covered goes to both
BeanieFan11 (submissions) and simongraham (submissions), who each submitted articles under 30 flags!
BeanieFan11 (submissions) also wins for writing the most quality articles (16 good articles). For submitting 16 articles related to El Salvador,
PizzaKing13 (submissions) wins the award for most submissions under one country. The award for most submissions related to women goes to both Spookyaki (submissions) (7 biographies about women) and
vigilantcosmicpenguin (submissions) (21 related articles). And for the second year, simongraham (submissions) wins for the most reviews, having submitted 21!
Among the participants' contributions were 2 FAs, 5 FLs, 124 GAs, and an uncounted number of DYKs, ITNs, and reviews of every kind! Regardless of your level of participation, every contestant can be proud to have contributed towards a major step in countering the systemic bias on Wikipedia. Every year, millions of readers and editors around the globe use Wikipedia to educate themselves and communicate with others about parts of the world that often receive less attention than they deserve. Thank you for participating with us in the contest and contributing to this effort. The DCWC will return next year, and we look forward to seeing you contribute again! However, before that...
We need your feedback! Join the conversation on the talk page to discuss your reflections on the contest (even if you didn't participate!) and help us make it better.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page or ask one of the coordinators: Arconning (talk · contribs), sawyer777 (talk · contribs), or TechnoSquirrel69 (talk · contribs).
