Asociația Fotbal Club Progresul Fundulea, also known as Progresul Fundulea or just Progresul is a romanian club based in Fundulea, Călărași County which currently plays in Liga III the third tier of Romanian football, following the promotion in the 2022–23 season.

History

Progresul Fundulea was founded in 2002 and was enrolled in Liga V, and played mostly in the Liga IV and Liga V.

The club won the league in the 2022–23 season and promoted after beating LPS HD Clinceni (former Academica Clinceni), 4–1 on aggregate.[1][2][3]

In the following season the club finished in 9th place in the third series and relegated back.

The club however was spared from relegation after some other clubs withdrew from the championship.[4].
