I changed the year/publication in which Shigo published the theory 'cause it looks like the USFS first published a bulletin by Shigo on CODIT in '77 [1], nearly a decade before A New Tree Biology (1986), and the reference I use is from '79.

Also, I wasn't really sure how I should reference much of what's on the page, as most all of it's from one source. If anyone's got a better idea than how I cited it, please do change it, as I think I did a pretty crappy job on that. -- Severinus 10:32, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
