Playdata Charts is a weekly airplay chart, measuring songs being played on radio stations in Nigeria,[2] and published on its website, with data gathered from its proprietary PlayData Broadcast Monitoring service.[3] The company was founded by Nigerian retired singer eLDee (born. Lanre Dabiri),[4] and it provides a weekly top 100 airplay chart (previously top 10 until 2017). Its first chart issue was released on 10 January 2016, and led by Adekunle Gold "Pick Up". It serves as Nigeria's official radio music chart[5] from 10 January 2016, to 31 December 2017. It also publishes a yearly chart, titled 40 Most Played Songs in Nigeria (previously 100 until 2017).
