WaveGroup Sound

WaveGroup Sound is a music production studio located in Fremont, California that achieved notability through its creation of music for numerous popular video games. Since 2014, WaveGroup has been the official sound design team for Facebook.
History
Originally established as Wave-Group Sound (later stylized as WaveGroup Sound), a company focused on audio post production, the company later shifted to video game music and sound design. By the early 2000s, the company was the leading producer of music for interactive music video games, producing music for popular series like Karaoke Revolution, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and others.[1][2]
Some of the works with sound produced by WaveGroup have been nominated or won awards in the video game and TV/Film areas.[3]
In 2014, Wavegroup became Facebook's official in-house sound design team and many of WaveGroup's employees joined Facebook. The WaveGroup team are responsible for the creation of many of Facebook's notification sounds.[4]
