One of his descendents, Eachainn Reaganach, or Hector the Stern, founded the Lochbuie Branch of the MacLaine clan. Hectors brother Lachlan the Wily founded the Duart Branch of the MacLaine clan. We'll discuss the two branches later in the article. Over the years the Lochbuie branch has held lands in Mull, Scarba, Jura, Morvern, Locheil, and Tiree. Lands were also granted in Duror and Glencoe but were never taken.</div>
